GET INVOLVED
Why Volunteer?
Volunteers are the driving force of our Club – without them, we simply would not exist.
Volunteering enriches our lives in so many ways. It creates opportunities to learn more about footy, stay active, and enjoy time outdoors, while also allowing us to engage with our children, connect with one another, and strengthen our wider community.
Like any junior football club, YDJFC relies heavily on the generosity, time, and commitment of our volunteers, both during the footy season and behind the scenes throughout the year. From coaching and team managing, to canteen shifts, ground setup, events, and administration, every contribution – big or small – plays a vital role in keeping our club running.
Our volunteers help create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment where our players can learn, grow, and develop a lifelong love of the game. We are incredibly grateful for the dedication of everyone who gives their time to support the Redhawks, and we encourage all families to get involved and be part of what makes our club so special.
Together, we are building more than a football club – we are building a community
