WELCOME TO YANCHEP DISTRICTS JUNIOR FOOTBALL CLUB
The Yanchep Districts Junior Football Club (YDJFC) is situated in the northern metropolitan area of Perth. Originally established in 1993 by Mr. Graham Hailstones (Life Member) as a free ball (Auskick) center, the club was initially called Sun City Dolphins. Over the years, our quaint community football club embraced a more rural identity and in 2000, it officially adopted the name Yanchep Districts Junior Football Club, affectionately known as the Junior Redhawks.
As a non-profit organization, our club operates solely through the dedication of volunteers and aims to provide a supportive environment for children aged 5 to 17. We offer various programs tailored to different age groups, including Auskick (Pre-Primary – Year 2), Junior/Modified Rules (Year 3 – Year 6), Youth/Open Rules (Year 7 – Year 12), and All Girls Competitions. Our doors are open to all individuals interested in participating in Australian Rules Football, fostering the values of junior sportsmanship.
Splendid Park, located on Splendid Avenue in Yanchep, is our home ground.
