Established in 2021, our exciting new Annual Auskick event, “The Squawk Cup”, is one not to be missed! Held on Round 6 – 8th of June.

Games and activities with Coaches Vs Parents Vs Kids! You name it! We play it!

YDJFC’s Club Mascot ‘Squawk the Redhawk’ will be parading around on the day with several judges to help decide on the days winning Auskick Year Group / Team.

Points can be earned several different ways throughout the morning. The Year Group with the most points at the end of the morning will be awarded the Squawk Cup.

Activities may include:

• Round Robin Grid Games,
• “Squawk This Way” Dance-Off,
• Longest Kick Competition,
• Kick The Target,
• 100m Sprint,
• Tug-O-War,
• Club Song “Sing-Off”,
• Relays, Three-legged Race,
• Egg and Spoon Race, etc

Each Year Group can earn points based on:

• Participation
• Sharing the ball
• Listening to Coaches
• Supporting their team mates​
